Mental Health Awareness Month
NAMI Fundraiser
Appalachian Student Ambassadors held a service event at the end of the semester in support of The Prevention Project! Members made bracelets with positive messages to donate to TPP for a fundraising initiative towards a nonprofit of their choice. I am so thankful for this community and everyone who was a part of this event!! With the help of App Ambassadors, we were able to make 20 bracelets that will be available for purchase with the funds donated to The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) High Country.
By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping NAMI provide support, education, and advocacy to thousands of people living with mental illness in our close community.
Support the Fundraiser & Donate to NAMI High Country
Help millions of Americans get the support they need and deserve! One in five American adults has a mental health condition. But stigma and misinformation keep too many from speaking up or getting help. It’s time to end the stigma and break down the barriers.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI High Country’s mission is to promote recovery and optimize quality of life for people affected by mental illness through support, education, and advocacy.
